Visualizations: TMRW / Wester+Elsner arkitekter
In the winter of 2018, Vasakronan invited PAJU to a parallel sketch about the design of the roof terrace for Hötorgsskraporna, which we were entrusted to develop further. When we started sketching, we found an old drawing that David Helldén (the main architect for the entire Hötorgsskraporna and terrace) made for a vision of showy roof gardens with lots of trees and shrubs, which was never carried out. It was the inspiration to try to get the feeling of sitting on the terrace under treetops and leafy greenery. Then the idea was born to create tall, wide 'tree trellis' that forms intimate spaces. It should feel inviting to sit down by the tree trellis, which also breaks the wind and creates shelter. The structure will also be a support for climbing plants in the summer and a place for nice glowing lanterns in the winter. The tree trellis together with large planting vessels, seating furniture and the restored fountain make us believe that we can approach Helldén's original vision of the magnificent garden in a contemporary way!

PAJU have designed new entrance buildings for Stendörren Nature reserve.
Master plan for 200 summerhouses in the surroundings of the southwestern Aegean coastland in Turkey.
Participation in a garden show located in an old English landscape park outside of Stockholm. Our concept was to create a landscape garden working with the site that we were given, exploring the full potential of the site. We weaved between the tree trunks and created a canopy, forming an intense space underneath.
Stendörren viewing platform is now open for public!
The Mornington Hotel has been turned into a ”Microfarm” this season. We planted different crops in the Entrance area by the lobby, three small ”fields of crop”, the biggest circle planted with Barley. Who knows, it might be used for brewing beer in the Lobbybar!
